No? Maybe it was just me?
Well, it is a good thing I practiced, because very shortly I will have to use it as part of my address.
Yup. I finally got the go ahead to post that we are officially moving to Mississippi. We will know the date that we have to be there on Friday, but as of right now it could be either August 27 or September 26.
At some point before then they will fly us down there to look for a house.
The town we are going to looks pretty nice. It is about the size of Midland, has a nice historical district and the cost of living is so ridiculously low that I can't believe that more people don't live there.
Remember that jury duty that I was so happy about? Now it is going to cause all kinds of problems. I am never going to be able to serve jury duty!
Thankfully it isn't

Congratulations! Hope your move goes smoothly. Sorry about the jury duty conflict. I've always wanted to serve too, but have never been called.
Had to laugh about your roach comment in a prior post. I'm next door in Alabama, and I can vouch for the fact that they are sometimes rampant, no matter how careful and clean you are. The worst are the palmettos imported from our Florida friends. Those are huge and they can fly. They invade my nightmares. Boric acid is your friend. :)
We are all pretty excited. The roach thing scared the heck out of me, though. I have bug issues. lol
Congratulations! How exciting! It will be neat to keep up with your move online!
Thanks Christian! We are excited at the new adventure but sad to leave our friends.
Everyone keeps talking about culture shock. lol
I really need to get back over to Diana's board and let them know. It only lets me in 1/2 the time so I end up giving up.
Well there will probably be a little culture shock. My BIL lived in Biloxi for the air force. It was different but the liked it. The schools were not the greatest but you don't need to worry about that, thank goodness. It's a beautiful place.
That is what I am told. I can't wait to see it. lol
